I think the author overshot the amount of days he needed, the lapse in personality happens way too fast, which is not an issue, the issue is it feels like we just... didn't witness it? maybe I'm jaded and don't understand but what exactly did she do (apart from the one chapter she goes near his house) that is scary? was it the drinking? I can't tell, either way it feels like I missed around 5 or so chapters
