Man I remember why I stopped reading this. The MC is just insufferable. He's an idiot and not the good kind (As if there is a good kind of male idiot).

I just can't understand anyone liking him with the way he acts. He's good at his job I think? But outside of that other than sincerity he really has nothing going for him. It's hard to watch.

Hell the girl he thought likes him only likes him not for him being a reliable, strong man but because he's the closest dude in the vicinity to her right now. And now it's because he reminds her of a pet. It's really sad to see that.

And let's be honest, it's not like he's doing anything overly insufferable IN FRONT of the girls (if anything, the girls are the ones that are on the coo-coo side, at least the 3 that got introduced afterwards), given the fact that he was made to be in charge of FOUR GRAVURE IDOLS basically, I'd say he's not doing anything way too out of the ordinary. And cmon, we all sometimes act like idiots occasionally when nobody's looking. and have our own stupid inner monologues.

it has been quite a long time since I last read this manga, but I skimmed through the manga from chap 1...and well, I dunno about you, in terms of interacting with the girls that he was put in charge off, he did pretty ok...like sure, it's not "chad" level of interacting, but from what I've seen, he barely had any real stupid or cringe moment interacting with Aroma, or none at all even. Yeah he was pretty stupid with the whole naked stream thing, but that's kinda irrelevant when it comes to the girls, so honestly who cares lol, we make some dumbass mistakes from time to time.

Regarding Ichifuji, like I mean, it's a manga I get it... but being made to be a PSEUDO BOYFRIEND for someone who's practically a stranger would probably put most people aback a bit, so I don't blame him. It's not like he fumbled around like a donkey and stutterd his words or whatever, he actually talked with her pretty damn normally from what I've seen, albeit slight bit awkward, but who wouldn't be. Hell their date went almost flawlessly so what more can we say. He's only fumbling around THIS CHAPTER because he was under the false pretense that she, a GRAVURE IDOL, was actually in love with him, so I'll at least give him that, it's all resolved in like 1 chapter so eh.

The Kumori girl is kinda unhinged, so it honestly doesn't really count. I'm not even gonna say anything about the 4th girl.

Is he an idiot by nature? Perhaps. Was he an idiot when he was interacting with the first 2 girls? BARELY.
