. . . these kind of situations never follow up on the full "fridge-horror" aspect of dead bodies. I'd wager most places, particularly in cities, have had someone die in the immediate area at some point in time.

Why be afraid of dead people? The entire planet is basically a haunted house already.

@Bwoo7072 Romance? And here I was just wondering if that them getting the same omen was a sign that they would get together?

@Chizan Most excavation sites are about finding detritus and foundations. (So lost coins, nails, clothing and goods, as well as figuring out how houses were built etc.)
And with him working at the site, he can get to find out that himself as well, so it'll be reinforced for him that the site is a place where people lived (burials were usually handled elsewhere).
