@BaaBaaBaa He was (and maybe still is) in denial that someone as 'perfect' as Komi or as cute as Mambagi could fall in love with him. Its really easy to forget but the reason that Tadano is the way he is right now is because being rejected by the girl he loved in middle school affect him a lot.
