As far as I know, those 2 only got stabbed and got both their ballot and count stolen so they got drag down to abyss. Somehow they survive I guess. Reread chapter 39 for reference.

and suu is still basically the only author i've seen who manages to shoehorn humor into tense situations like this without completely ruining it
