There's nothing wrong with criticising a localisation. What bothers me and the thing I'm specifically talking about is you, smol, and a few others always raising commotion when there's a trans character in something.

No, you blatantly claimed that criticism of translation only happens when it's about transgender characters, which simply isn't true.
You're also objectively wrong about what you're saying because I wasn't there making an issue about translations or anything in Bokurano Hentai or Otome Dansini Koisuru Otome and many others — you, however, are constantly found in discussions, even complaining about the fact that characters aren't transgender in some cases and in this case make a very disingenuous “what the artist intended” argument whereas it's quite clear you simply didn't like the original phrasing of the original work.

No one was even arguing here that the character wasn't transgender; everyone agrees that the character is so I'm not even sure it's comparable. The argument was that the translation was altered either for localization, or politics.

I'm found in these a lot because I like reading things with trans characters. Or things where characters can be read as trans, whether or not they are or aren't. I don't believe I've ever complained about characters NOT being trans

But I do get into arguments with transphobes like you often, who refuse to acknowledge trans characters and constantly shit on people for reading into a character as being trans or similar to our own experiences

I didn't say that criticism of this stuff ONLY happened when it comes to this topic. Please do quote me on where I said this exact thing verbatim. The only time I mentioned it was when I was talking about you, yes, YOU, specifically. The only time I ever see you complain about translations is when you want to erase trans characters.

You can keep making shit up about what I say but the point remains that you are suddenly this cultural scientist but only when trans people exist. You always have to find some way to undermine us.

Perhaps not so directly, but you have defended those that do in for instance the discussion around Kareto Kanozyono Sentaku, who complained about the lack of realism about a gender-reversal medical condition and wished instead that the character simply be transgender — there, suddenly your argument about intend of the auctor seemed to be waver.

Yet I've very much acknowledged that this character is transgender, just as everyone else has, so I'm not sure how reliable I'm to take your interpretations of events about the Zombieland Saga situation either.

And do you think that might be caused by that you mostly, by your own admission, spend time in such comments sections and naturally don't see it when I complain elsewhere?
I'm fairly certain that this is the only time I have ever complained about a translation regarding this subject — I have never done so before but complained about many translations. I've must have complained at least 10 times alone about the translation of “Game-zukino Tomodatito Iru-Iru-Suru Hanasi” to “Hanging Out With a Gamer Girl”.

If you by your own admission specifically love such material, then of course you miss that in other material complaints about translations are made all the same.

No I'm not, you simply only notice it in that case.
On this very series, on chapter 4.5, I had a discussion with someone else about the legality of single-sex photoboots in Japan and Japan's culture with regards to denying service based on sex — you were nowhere to be found there of course, so you didn't notice it.
I also commented on the translation of this very series prior, which again you of course missed, as you were nowhere to be found there.
