"At least give me a moment to unleash my disembodied buttocks in your general direction!"

There's a sentence I never thought I'd read.

Standard shounen-genre powers aside, kinda feels like the league of villains has LONG crossed the event horizon of being worthy of saving. I get that it's a common trope, but come the fuck on. How genocidal does a villain have to be before the hero stops believing in redemption?

"Sure you murdered tons of people... and maimed me and my closest friends horribly.. and there was that kidnapping thing... and your friend was trying to traumatize my friend's dad by murdering him... and everyone you allied with is either an aimless dumbass or a violent psychopath who wants to kill innocent people for fun... and you're working with a group of violent revolutionaries who are cool with all of this... and you unleashed that giant monsters on this city... and you are working with the bastard who has been tormenting the world for generations and crippled my teacher who just wanted to help people... oh and you tried to kill me one time... BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?! YOU LOOKED KINDA SAD THERE AND I WANT TO SAVE YOU!!"

I don't know if I can keep reading this.

People are taking the "saving shigaraki" in the most literal and dumb way possible, like the whole reason he is the way he is today is because nobody saved him when he was a kid so AFO could groom him, the dude's clearly mentaly ill, deku's a hero ofcourse he would want to "save" him, idk if you're expecting this to end like naruto where sasuke is just forgiven and orochimaru gets to hang around but you know there's stuff between killing a villain and becoming friends with them, i'll be the first to say mha has been mid lately but this it's fine, it fits the narrative and the characters well y'all just don't want to take it in

Another good chapter but tbh endeavours still the only character I like. He’s pretty much the only one who has any depth over then ‘good guy’ or ‘bad guy’

@ThatGuy102 you are exactly right. There's a difference between wanting to save someone from being consumed further by evil all the while stopping them from destroying things AND thinking they can become a good guy and everything bad they did will be forgotten.

@Kreed_ In a series about high school kids you can't really expect a whole lot of a spectrum in the morality in the characters. That's just not how teenagers operate. To most people of that age things are still very much black and white. Out of the students Kacchan clearly stands out in that sense. Even though he is still very idealistic, he is deeply flawed with his pride and arrogance, anger and handling his negative emotions. He's seemingly making an effort to get better and that's what's compelling about him to me. But I agree with you, Enji is a good case study in writing complex characters in a very one-note dominated genre

I knew right from the start Horikoshi wouldn't need to cop-out with a time skip from the battle. I still don't get where so many of you got the idea from. Nothing in his writing has ever suggested that he'd just skip a very important conflict and let us see the aftermath weeks or months or years later. He's skilled enough to resolve high-stakes situations without it falling flat or inflating it beyond reasonable amounts. Overall this arc has been incredible. Let's see how it wraps up. What are the repercussions of Deku's quirk being One for all revealed to the other heroes? How will Toya's reveal affect the world and the Todoroki family specifically? I'm super excited to find out.

@ThatGuy102 How dare you speak out like that and be 100% correct

@Kreed_ The abusive dad? Says a lot about you.

@hinatassi Because apparently, him showing up in Tomura's head and the alternate dimension where OFA and AFO were connected, never happened.
