I feel a strong need to say that Iori has always used male pronouns (which are first-person in Japanese) and very masculine speech patterns (it’s a very gendered language in that way).
Could that change? I suppose. That would be fine.
The language used here could just as easily refer to pads as anything. Japanese is a very vague language.
But maybe we just let Iori be Iori. A straight guy can be a femme power-bottom.
Maybe Iori is a woman, maybe not. Let’s just see, but so far seems to be a straight guy.
