I understand that this translation was made with good intentions, but afaik Yuri Project has this covered.

MangaDex is designed to support multiple translations of the same material; that's part of the ethos of this place. Meanwhile scanlators have more than one possible motive for scanlation, including just practicing with material that they enjoy.

So let's not fret about what appears to be a sincere and competent effort by a second group.

and yet they only uploaded a new chapter 3 months later and after they probably got a notification that somebody else uploaded their own version of it and yes, people have irl things to take care of and this is free, but I for once appreciate anybody who translates and uploads new chapters of anything...especially if it looks dead or like it's going to take a lot of time to get updated - if 'current' translators don't have as much time for it why shouldn't others use theirs to continue with own versions?

Hey, this is the translator for the Yuri Project release. Actually, we basically finished the chapter a couple days ago and have been doing proofreading and minor corrections to get it ready. I was already planning on releasing the chapter yesterday, and it was just a weird coincidence when someone told me this group was already uploading a chapter. This series is a lot of work, it's not the kind of thing you can throw together in a couple hours to beat another group haha.
