Many people seems to be grossed out by sensei, but I actually find it cute. 🤣
I hope he would get into high school soon, be an adult, and the age gap would be just a number.

@raccoonshouse the fact that there have been implications of her being "serious" with him is what's crossing the line. A fun, flirty dynamic is cute (weird irl but entertaining for a manga), but the idea of her actually trying to go for him is creepy and is completely ruining this wholesome vibe I'm coming here for. With some of the dialogue she's said, and the health teacher warning her, it doesn't feel like she's planning to wait for him to grow up.

@raccoonshouse what? The age gap itself isn't the problem technically, if it was a 18 year old to a 28 year old then even then I can understand but 14 to 24 is literally pedophilia. He's barely a teenager, he hasn't even fully hit puberty.

The thing is, this manga (with the spin-offs too, actually) covers a lot of unvonventional romance story (age-gap romance, girl romance) and even underage sex intercourse.
In real life, of course I know how problematic those are. Girl romance, in some countries, would be scorned by the society. Underage sex intercourse might get you expeled from school. Age gap romance and moreover teacher-student relationship? Yeah, kiss your future career a goodbye if you did it.

But this manga is fiction, and that's just how it is. I might get hated for my comment, but if you're looking for the innocent-and-fluffy typical shojo romance, I don't think this manga offers you with that..

In one of the spin-offs (Game Over), one of the characters even literally date (and eventually marry) someone whom I bet is 10+ years older. Moreover, they're dating when he's still a student.
But then again, the dynamics of their relationship is what made this manga interesting to read.

PS:
It's been a while since I read this manga, so I have forgotten their names, but at the end of the story and the spin-off (Harmony), you will see that they're not dating even after the student got older and became a famous soloist.
