On this day, 4 decently well known forum members was permanently banned, them being:

@yogurtman250, which got his ban lifted
@hahano, who didn't
@TheSeer, who's ban was unrelated to the others
And more importantly, @Robinisback, who got allegedly got banned from a certain profile post.

There were also a group of members who also got banned, allegedly sharing the same ban reason as the ones mentioned (aside from @TheSeer)

Some of those guys were cool in my opinion, even though I haven't been here for long. It sucks that they got banned over something trivial. Hopefully some of them can still return (is it actually permanent?)
I hope such incidents won't repeat in the future.

stuff like this is why i'm averse to permabans in particular being at moderator discretion on any platform. it'd be one thing if it was only a few weeks off because of a poorly-received shitpost

unseenchaos requested a ban appeal on discord a few days ago, but I get the feeling it didn't happen since his comments didn't seem to be shitposting. Neko gave him some gaff for calling her a scapegoat and he wanted someone else to review the ban. I thought what she said was funny 🤷‍♂️
