I was expecting the ending to be Lilysa still in the manga club raising the new generation of cosplayers, instead we got the whole cast including Okumura.
Speaking of our protagonist, seeing him rejecting the other girls felt so bad, especially since between Lilysa, Mari nee and Mikari the winner was the least interesting of the three.
As I said in a previous chapter, I cannot call this a bad series, but compared to the premise to me it was a disappointment.

The ending is not the best and totally not the worst, but I think it's kind of cruel to the other girls of the harem (especially, for Lilisa + what's with that 'Mikari Amano' name for Tsubaki (p. 2)? She took it? ) and Okumura's family was just left hanging out of the picture for all eternity.
And even with everything aforementioned it is still better than Sono Bisque Doll

She took up Modeling so Mikari could retire. And Mikari Amano was her model name as tribute to her closest friends. Cause otherwise people would find out her connection to her famous CEO parents really easily.

People forget Lilysa’s perfect end was an eternal manga club where they could hang out and make cosplays and what do you know, Tsubaki leveraged her career and skills to create a company where they can do just that.

Though those who skip the dialogue miss out on the heart of the series, the writing itself.
