Not even a tenth of the world's population says soccer.
Also, don't you dare start giving Americans and the rest of the world shit for "soccer" when the British invented the fucking term. You want someone to blame? Point the finger at Britain/UK.
(That's part of the reason why the Japanese use it, because of the British/American influence during the Meiji Restoration. Also because the Japanese also do have American/gridiron football as well.)
