welp, this moment was very very set up, maybe even a bit too much? Like, it just became a fact you assumed at some point that Kanna's mother, who is probably the current Head Dream Investigator, and was also a bacteriologist who got in so far with Friend as to have his baby, figured out how to weaponize that virus. Still, Kanna specifically figuring it out is a cool moment, just like her realizing that Friend is her dad.

i don't feel she's a villain, but why would she make the disease? was she forced? or just made it out of scientific passion then lived to regret it?
