@Jmann I mean, what else could have he done. Even though this is fiction, the working culture in Japan is absolutely ruthless. He just worked to live, so that he could provide for her little sister and himself. If he had done anything against the company, there's a good chance that him being employed again after that won't happen, especially if the previous company he worked at was as huge as that insurance company.

As soon as my name was cleared I’m hitting up that baddie from Global and walking. And poaching as many coworkers as I can to follow. I’m sure the CEO is playing the long game, and setting something up behind the scenes to help. Regardless it’s still annoying to see MC railroaded like this with seemingly no way to clear his name.
