sweet seeing Ikoma face something head-on again, for all the voices pushing him to leave everyone behind he's got a surprisingly solid foundation keeping him upright. Anzu on bass is sick too, gonna be fun seeing her build on that

I think it's just intrusive thoughts that are telling him to push people away, but they're represented as visual metaphors like how so much of the sound and music-based emotions/vibes are, for the series as a whole.

I don't think it's depicting any sort of neurological delusion or hallucination on Ikoma's part.

Shunpei is the most well-adjusted out of the three due to having an intact and supportive family. Relatively speaking, he's more innocent. Of course his mindset would be different from Anzu and Ikoma.

I think he only taught her a few cords that she can play over and over again. But yeah, as someone how tried to learn guitar once, it does take a while to develop the right finger strength and get used to having your hand reach around to the strings, especially if you're a girl with small hands.

As for Shunpei, the band kind of needs a straightman since the other two are kind of unhinged in their own way.
