I'm quite baffled by the settings. Looking for an identical stand-in for your own work because you have no time to do it is pretty anti-professional and shows how little pride she got in the craft...

If you can't do it for whatever excuse you have, step down for another seiyuu... Why look for an amateur because she has the same voice and trying to deceive your fans. It's impossible it would ever happen IRL for ethical and legal reasons.

Hey. This seems to have the same artist as this one. I hope this one doesn't get cancelled though.
This one has 21 WN chapters here and the last update was on 20th June 2023. A LN also exists with 2 volumes with the second volume released in August 2023. So this one will likely be a very short series

"Popular people are what makes something good"
This seems sort of like bad circular logic. Firstly, she's completely discounting that they were playing a popular song, a song everyone knew, which is inevitably going to get everyone more hyped. Even amazing musicians get annoyed because everyone expects them to play their most well known songs in every set, so likewise, of course people would enjoy a shoddy rendition of a song they all know compared to the MC's better but unknown music.
The boys' popularity would have nothing to do with it.

Even if we assume that what she was actually saying was 'popularity is what makes something good', which to some extent is true -- at least in a historical context -- popular things often don't start popular. It builds up, with the trend setters and taste makers discovering the work and preaching its qualities to others. You might say 'well, doesn't that mean she's right about popular people making something good?', but no, do you think Punk bands, or death metal, or rap, had 'popular people' talking about it? Trend Setters and Taste Makers can be popular, but that doesn't mean they are popular.

Anyway, I'm ranting about a single unimportant throwaway line.
