Who knows. In the beginning of the story Nie Li got 2 months to reach rank 1 bronze. It felt like a week or two had went by when he was doing stuff, but the it was revealed it was only a day or two and practically speaking the whole two months still remained. Now when I look at everything that has happened in the series so far, with the summer vacation, changing classes, the travels, the monster war, building the formation array, all the training, the dark prison, the alchemy stuff, etc, it most certainly feels like a year if not two years. However, at the same time I wouldn't even bother to laugh if it was told they are still the same 13 years, and only four months had gone by... They should be like 15 if you ask me.
