Oh, man, where do I start?!
I guess I'll start with being glad to see Chiyo and Igarashi getting along and that, despite Chiyo's grumpiness, they are taking a class together. The class itself makes me wonder if Coco, herself, had a teacher like that. Pretty odd when you think about it.

It's also always good to see Subaru-chan! If only Chiyo wasn't there, she would certainly make a good mate for Igarahsi. Pretty, sweet, kind, and, unlike Chiyo, treats Igarashi like the nice guy that he is.

Now to the dark side. Chiyo and Kitamoto apparently haven't learned their lesson from the Miyako incident. They immediately jump to conclusions and think the worst of Igarashi, having no faith and trust in him. Of course there's a reason why Chiyo does not trust Igarashi: she, herself, cannot be trusted as she is not honest with him.

Of course, Chiyo is also two-faced. It's not okay for Igarashi to talk to another woman, but she can talk with whatever man she wants. She's had private, intimate conversations with Ryouhei, Ookuma, and Kitamoto, but if Igarashi even looks at another woman he's cheating on her. How ironic that, in practically the same breath that she is bad-mouthing her boyfriend for talking with another woman, she is running off with another man.

@FredFriendly I completely agree with you.

I feel like the author tried giving the characters their own 'quirks' like how he is quite ignorant and brash and she is more secretive and whiny. However the author has taken it too far so they no longer can be considered silly character quirks but are just massive characters flaws. The whole point of a romance series like this is the likability of the main characters and the want for them to end up together, I don't particularly have either to be honest. I don't think either the characters are likeable nor do I have a massive desire for their relationship to work out. That's ultimately where I think this has failed. I also don't see there being any major character development anytime soon. It would be great if a new and well written romance manga gets released, that would give me the final push I need to drop this.

@FredFriendly - I was hoping she'd just turn around and walk up to them and ask Igarashi to introduce her to his new friend. Heck make up a reason to go back and be passive-aggressive about it, I don't care, I just want her to resolve these issues without dragging hypocritical drama into it! And like you said, this isn't the first time something like this has happened!

Maybe we'll be lucky and she's actually going to do what I said, and she's dragging Kitamoto along as a cover story, such as to say, "I ran into Kitamoto, he wanted to ask you something and oh hey, who's this bi-... person."

@JordanFurneaux I can certainly understand where you're coming from. There was that brief character development for Chiyo when she apologized to Igarashi for how she acted and what she said during the Miyako incident, but all that seems to have gone poof, and it's as if her personality has been reset. If only Chiyo could remember how sweet and loving Igarashi was (and how she felt) back in chapter 50... Nonetheless, I am hoping for (and expecting) some concrete development in their relationship in the next raw chapter coming out next week.

@sylvacoer Now that would be a great idea, but seeing as Chiyo's got a track record of discussing the intimate details of her relationship with other men, instead of her boyfriend (one of my biggest pet peeves of women in shoujo stories), it's unlikely to happen. She and Kitamoto are more likely to, once again, have a "bad-mouthing Igarashi" session.

Yes, yes, author clear show us what chiyo is two face. Meenwhile igarashi cant talk and freindship with another girls, chiyo can speak and do what she want and keep secrets. I know its shoujo and maybe author would like to show us what girl cant be, but how long he want to drug this and work out something new without poor drama?

@WoodyCyber Despite the name of the chapter, there is no actual cheating involved, just Chiyo's out-of-control imagination and low opinion of Igarashi. When I get too frustrated with the current storyline, I'll go back and re-read the first 29 chapters (though skipping 14) to remind myself why I still keep scanlating this series. Despite all the things I don't like about the story, it can still make me anxious to read the next chapter (such as the cliffhanger at the end of chapter 165). And despite all of Chiyo's flaws, I still find her really adorable.

@FredFriendly, I figured that was the case. I just thought that yep, there is still a bunch of drama in this. haven't calmed Down at all. and what you said earlier, about the double standard the fmc is running… not good. That is wrong, and keeping those Things Secret from her boyfriend is even worse. I mean, she has those convos With other guys, also her ex work With her current bf. and current bf doesn't know about it, even this far in...

@Yukio Hopefully, the hiatus won't be as long as the 3-month rest Coco took back in 2017 when she had appendicitis.
