Anubis is getting more and more annoying with every chapter. Sure he has to put trials to saliphie in order to prove her worthy or being queen but he doesn't have to go and bully her to do so.

Also he is the typical employee that resists change in the organisation and that will do everything possible to avoid it.

Tons of things I’d like to discuss!
1st thing I noticed- when after the speech, he was picking her up while talking to the chancellor, giving her credit... I was like- he’s picking her up! Cute! Fluffy! Soft!
2nd- they Kissed... That happened! Or did it? I m not sure(?), but I get a feeling she’s confused as well, well among a lot of things
3rd- The chancellor said she’d only be able to sleep carefree ( it should’ve Been ‘peacefully’) that night only, but she’s not really carefree or sleepy at all, is she?

@chenando1 it's not about resisting change, he just doesn't want to accept that the king is relying on someone other than him. He's like a boy whose best friend got a girlfriend and now spends more time with her than with him. Anubis doesn't care much about the state of the kingdom, he is just fiercely loyal to the king. It's kind of petty, but understandable.

@SuppeBargeld Although I see a bit of that, I agree more with chenando1 here.

Anubis is indeed fiercely loyal to the king, but as chapters 26-27 show, his ideas of what a perfect king is like are very traditional. In order to succeed and survive, Anubis thinks that the ruler must be an "absolute king who is strong and strict". If that means sacrificing the king's softer side and that he will "never be touched by that warmth again", so be it.

I'm sure there will be peace between Anubis and Saliphie once he learns that the king can be a more benevolent figure and still find success. But that will take time.

To anyone who likes the manga - I am proofreading it for the translators - please let me know if you like the improvements or if there are errors I made - I did struggle with some of the words such as "unchanging" (what a doozy) but it's my first time proofreading for a manga.
