@Ghizghuth So what 99% of people on this site are gonna mean when they say beta is that he's a "beta male" as opposed to an "alpha male." He's like, timid, non-confrontational, unconfident, scared of risks, runs away from sexual situations, etc. Personally, I'm sick of the term and how much its used.
I disagree on the attacking one on one thing though. Looking back at the chapter it appears to me that they are attacking him two or three at a time. For instance the one that gets his hood is attacking from behind while he's handling the one that jumped at him from the front. Then the next panel shows him handling three wolves at once. More than two or three probably wouldn't happen though because he's in a hallway.
As for why he's so good with a sword. No idea. He has really good senses and awareness just off the merit of always being in dungeons unarmed and getting attacked. But the sword skills, dont know. My only guess is something with the Reawakening and the system giving him basic knowledge with any weapon he's able to equip.
Also, he doesn't have to loot things. When he kills them the game-like system automatically drops the loot in his inventory. Which appears to be unique to his new abilities, cause I think others where having to loot things physically. If you are talking about things like pelts and what-not though, no idea.
Those are my takes on it.
