The master tells his disciple, the main character, that his parents were killed by demons and that he's his savior, when in actuality he killed his parents and made the MC dependent on him. Every time the MC dreams of the past, and when the master molests him, he convinces the MC that it's his "illness" acting up and he's just having nightmares, or he's dreaming about being touched because he actually wants it. I'm not even sure if the author is trying to romanticise it because it's just depressing the whole way through.
