@pedantiq I think Hatsumi is gonna lose, it's a pretty common trope - frivolous aloof man gets serious, but loses anyway to pave way for the MC

Although, it is about as common a trope as frivolous aloof man gets serious, and defeats a major foe to destabilize the status quo

But his past as "the man who was supposed to the the fang" cements this situation as the former, I think - we about to get backstory, and that means death/defeat flag imo

(I know it's been a month, but I like to "participate" in "discussion" anyway xd)
