Kind of funny how Fang stomps stronger opponents, but almost crumbled before easier one.
So, Kanoh slowly becomes Bruce Lee or what? lmao
Hokuto no Gun - thanks for translations as always!
Now that the Fang defeated the "light world best", the "perfection in his style" and the "unexpected genius", I guess he will also win again the "old master" establish his dominance and then get beat by a sacrificial blow by Ohma.
Hrm. I think Nogi is disappointed but I don't think he's as despairing as he seems to be. He did say that this was pretty much all for old guy and Ohma so I think he was always aiming for them to win the tournament. Maybe his original plan was to have it be Hatsumi v. Ohma in the finals to secure his plan. Still, guess we'll see where this all goes
Boring ass character with 2 personalities. Why boring? He got no interesting background and seems a little similar to Akazuki (or whatever the name of the "justice" warrior was).
Btw. isn't the zero inch strike a technique of Bruce Lee?
@monkey123 even if Himuro uses Jeet Kune Do, Fang encompasses Bruce's philosophy more. This was hinted at with his fighting style being called "formless" which Bruce was all about (see his speech on "being water"). He didn't like to identify with a martial art he just believed in using the most effective moves for a situation which is exactly like Kanoh. The one inch punch is just the cherry on top
Ummm, does anyone know what Hatsumi meant by "did he just.." (page 14). At first I thought it was the kick, but is a kick really so surprising? And I sort of doubt it's the "secret weapon" the other fighters are talking about. Any ideas?
