Why does everyone think Kanoh is going to fight the Beard?

The Beard, who trains fighters by fighting them? Who would benefit from that the most?

Also, they pretty much have outright said the tournament is irrelevant. So it doesn't matter who wins or loses. I'm calling Ohma vs. Beard, Ohma loses and then fights the Kiryu Setsuna while the Beard faces off against the Fang, then Ohma goes batshit from using his overdrive against Kiryu and we enter a NEW tournament arc where Ohma is destroying everyone with the power of "that" whatever "that" is.

Hmm, I'm starting to think if Wakatsuki will be subbed out for the next round. They bothered with the whole "one substitution rule" but so far it has only been used by Seki's fake sub out. And honestly Wakatsuki is the only fighter that I can reasonably see be subbed out at this point, not to mention that he is severly injured and he is up against Ohma next so if they are going for Ohma v Setsuna this is the chance. What speaks against it is that Wakatsukis employer has been stated to be on the same side the Nogi group. So even a straight up forfeit isn't out of the question for the next round.

God, I love The Fang. I can‘t understand the hateboner for him in the community. He is so great, not boringly overpowered like The Beard. That fight is definitely gonna be the best in the whole manga. And The Fang will win it, without question. Any other outcome doesn‘t make sense storywise. I‘m looking forward to the salt of the Beard-fanboys!

I agree with the substitution thing. It‘s so weird that the mangaka mentioned it and it never happened, for two full rounds since the announcement. Not even Bando, who was said to be deadly poisoned. I think we‘re gonna see a massive plot twist in that regard, possibly in the finale.

......I want to be like Gaolang wongsawat but...the Fang makes it hard to commit to that....He actually gave The thai God of war some props, but he also was holding back against him, that is an incredible feat for anyone. I honestly Hope Goalang is subbed in to Fight Him again, and this time for him to use Pure Muay Thai. or Muay Boran. all Kill shots.

I am the only one disappointed with the fang's last fights? It's like he is in the OP league, but at the same time, it seems like the author has tried to make it like he had weaknesses to make his fights slightly more interesting. And the result i not very credible, to say the least.

I’m honestly glad hatsumi got destroyed. Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard. Hatsumi is just too inconsistent, too unmotivated, and too lackadaisical to breach the highest echelon of fighters. He’s still a threat to anyone because of just how much sheer talent he has, but being SHARP and refined from consistent training, sparring and fighting is what creates the gap between the great and the best. The fact that hatsumi thought he could just come back and beat Agito after still being lazy just shows how arrogant and misguided he was, sure, he had gotten stronger since their last fight, but not nearly as much as he could have. Evidenced by him saying something along the lines of “damnit, and I even worked kinda hard too” before he lost lmao.

I love the fang so much. All this hype for Hatsumi and how he’s reached ‘top gear’, and then Agito just curbstomps him into the dust.
It’s especially satisfying since the fang’s schtick is that he’s constantly evolving, while Hatsumi is all about pure talent and his mood.
