Huh? Why isn't Igarashi stopping you, Chiyo? Isn't this what you wanted? You were certainly quick to agree to be Ookuma's partner. If that's what you wanted, and it surely appeared that way to Igarashi, why should he go against your wishes? Whatever disdane you may have felt for Ookuma, you now seem to feel for your (soon to be ex-?) boyfriend instead. If you had honestly wanted to partner with Igarashi, you certainly could have refused to partner with anyone else.

Notice: After over 85 chapters and almost two years of translating Koi Inu, UMR-san has decided to stop scanlating so he can work while pursuing his education. My highest praise and thanks goes out to UMR-san for his consistent and excellent translations.

Chiyo attention's still on Igarashi, despite everything.
I don't think there is place for Ookuma between them but I could be wrong and maybe cause a temporary break up.

@Nobi This is actually my fourth year on the project! I started in August of 2015. After charlemagne quit, UMR-san joined the project in March of 2017. Anyhow, no, I'm not dropping the series. I've already partnered with a new translator and the scanlations will continue. Hopefully, I'll still be able to keep up a chapter-a-week schedule.
