Just so you all know, the raws for this chapter and the one after this have been out for a while, they just hadn't been scanlated until now. It's not like Hirano suddenly started writing again, he's been writing this whole time, albeit at a very slow pace (every 2-3 months or so). So the next chapter may come out pretty soon depending on when the scanlation team chooses to work on it. (Spoilers: Hijikata is going to be VERY confused when he sees Kanno calling himself a Shinsengumi. Not to mention no one on the battlefield has seen an airplane before, lol.)

The first two episodes of the second "season" of the Drifters anime have also been out since December in case anyone was unaware. They continue directly from season 1 (they're technically episodes 13 and 14), but were not aired as part of any regular season schedule due to the slow release of the manga. Future episodes of the anime will also probably follow this release format.

Also, did anyone notice that Toyo's country bumpkin accent has been exponentially improved now that a new scanlation team is working on this? It's still obvious he speaks with a crude accent but it flows so much better in the dialogue. Nice work, Animeace scans.
