Even the other guy, the minister dude or whatever not the regent, keeps exclaiming his opposition but at the same time takes absolutely no action against him and just wants the king to. Presumably anyway. From what I can see everyone is just letting him do what he wants xD. Idiots I swear.

Some of these manhua start off pretty strong or atleast decent but like with this one, chapter by chapter my rating decreases.
This is one of those ones where its really forcing the traitor/corruption and its getting close to drop potential.

Just checked views for the chapters and pretty much every chapter has less views than the last by quite a decent amount.
Kind of impressive to have that kind of consistency

Of course that Orochimaru-lookalike decapitated the lizardman. My guess is this: Sophisas struck him in a non-vital spot, and such an injury is just incapacitating for lizardman biology. But that means he could've ratted about the details of what happened to end up with him captive, including whatever deal he made with the regent (which would probably be grounds for treason). So... he was killed under the pretense that he could've been playing dead, to ensure that the ploy remains secret.
