Looking at the oversized canines, that's a male wild boar. Its meat ought to stink considering a normal male boar's would, yet that thing is also gigantic and has the decaying extra attribute to boot. I'm not sure if it's such a pleasure to try to cook and eat it. Although that being said, it's possible the mangaka is not aware of this detail.

@Kaarme It still wouldn't be the weirdest thing that someone could eat, so long as you process the ingredients right a surprising number of things can be made edible. This is also discounting the fact that the setting is another world with magic, so they'd have access to even more techniques/herbs/spices to mask/eliminate undesirable scents/tastes of game meat.
