Man, tbh, I was on Itsuki's side when the anime first aired. I mean she's close to perfect then. Her soft voice, her ahoge, her fashion sense, etc... But as the story (manga) progressed she kinda looks like she's being more and more set aside.

Negi-sensei didn't do her justice, I feel the doujin author on this one... o7

Author, please, just because it didnt work out the way you wished for in the canon doesnt mean that your doujinshi shouldnt be continued, it was warm and funny and just as good as the official release. Even if you think that its only pretending or lying, even if imagining and headcanoning isnt the same as having it confirmed by the real author, there are plenty of people for whom you are the real author, of this story, we can also only headcanon a better ending for this, but only you can really write it.
