Man, this is some savage shit ... I like it even more now. Only one thing left after they beat the final boss ... Suichi has to let her come inside raw. He let that other girl inside raw ... so Claire should have the privilege ... nay, the right for un-protected ... insertion?

Honest questions: 1) Why cannot Claire and MC join into one body as he did with the cat girl - is it because Claire wasn't completely naked (I doubt this is the case)? 2) What do you guys think the coins are actually for? 3) This question pertains to the first question, could it be because Claire is still human, whereas the cat-girl was already a monster, thus, was able to fuse because it was a Monster X Monster fusion?

Either because cat girl was a monster or because the MC was near death, I think the reason for them merging was because some hidden power activated when the MC got literally crushed with the cat girl inside.

1) I think that they fused because they shared 1 single goal (stop the boy with the really strong monster-parents). They only separated when Yoshioka looked into Shuichi's memories and realized that Claire's sister shouldn't be killed. So their goal became different:
Shuichi -> stop the boy -> kill Claire's sister
Yoshioka -> stop the boy -> prevent Shuichi from killing Claire's sister
2) Well the alien said that these coins were his crewmates/fellow aliens in a more "condensed" form. Honestly, I think that the whole "coin hunting" thing + big reward if you get 100 of them is just an incentive for humans.
3) Maybe. I still think that a "real" fusion only happens when both people are completely in sync. Maybe the fusion between MC and Catgirl only happened because the near death experience made it hard to have different goals (like, priorities.)

I was really excited for future transformations similar to the cat girl suit because that was bad ass and want to see more variants. I think these transformation are due to being in sinc because the two people have a similar goal. I still feel like the two characters don't share similar goals and is still forced.
Maybe we will see the cat girl version as an unlocked suit and we get to see it again.
