Koga is pretty damn likeable, he knows that he's fucking weak compared to the other fighters and tries his best to train to get better. No boasting, no bullshit, just training.

@b-no
Sasuke 2.0 and several others would disagree

@Mystery0000
Yeah but isn't balancing on both feet just the superior option irl? As a boxer this feels like really strange advice

A hard working version of Kanoh sounds GREAT

@0takuDragonSlayer Dunno why people like Gaoh so much. As a character, I don't like him at all. I want Koga to steal his spotlight in the near future (by working hard, obviously). Not only that, Koga is the character who might get an amalgamation of different techniques from other fighters. Just look at him right now, he is learning from other people. Couple that up with his unique observation they have shown a few times.

Also, Gaoh seems like the one who would stick to his own style.

Yeah, in boxing its superior cause you use "only" your fist for attack. With evenly distributed balance between them you can use both of your hands very effectively.
But in martial arts which involving kicks if you can shift your weight while you are in one leg (the other one is the kicking one) you can change the trajectory of your leg. Just try pushing your hips a little bit forward while you kick to gain a little distance and with bad balance you gonna fall with your leg.
The same thing with tackles or taking hits from the front. Sometimes it's just better if one of your leg support your weight so its harder to take you to the ground or the opponent cant make you to take a step back.
In the manga tho, my opinion is that, this "only one leg on the ground" thing is more about focusing and overall balancing. Mc has good eyes but withouth proper aiming he just gonna miss the vital points. If he can step with high precision his overall movements are gonna be sharper. Plus its not a bad thing if by second nature you try to avoid or deflect the incoming attacks with shifting your body.

page 2 : " i better clean this up ..." . i think there was a mis-translation , there is no way the blond MC would willingly clean up the mess that was made by the black-hair MC .

at night , 2 sweaty , pretty , virgin boys are playing "games" in a room , alone . they are trying to touch each other n!pples , lol .

page 17 : that shared shower room is so wrong , it is connected straight to the changing room with no door at all . you should never drop your soap inside that shower room , when you are surrounded by a lot of n@ked , muscular men , lol .

page 10 : uesugi kenshin and salt :

- In addition, there was an incident when the Hōjō boycotted salt supplies to Kai Province. When Kenshin heard of Shingen's problem he sent salt to the Shingen from his own province. Kenshin commented that the Hōjō had "performed a very mean act". Kenshin added, "I do not fight with salt, but with the sword".

- On one occasion, when other daimyo boycotted salt supplies to Kai province, Kenshin secretly sent salt to the Takeda (salt was a precious commodity used in preserving food). Although he could have cut off Shingen's "lifeline" of supplies, Kenshin decided not to do so in the manner that it would be dishonorable. In reflection, Kenshin stated, "Wars are to be won with swords , not with salt."

- there are the sayings : "Giving salt to your enemies" , "Being salty to your enemies" and "Rubbing salt to the wounds of your enemies" , lol .

Yeah that actually makes sense. Thanks for the run down

@Intruvious
Not gonna lie, you're gonna have to wait a while and maybe even after the 13 member war for Koga to even land a clean hit on Gaoh lol
Don't know what your beef is with Goah. Not like he doesn't work hard

@0takuDragonSlayer We'll have to wait and see. I, personally, expect a lot more from Koga.

There's no beef, it's just that I don't like him. He doesn't seem like MC material, in my opinion. Also, it's not like they have shown him training. For all we know, he might have a natural disposition for the Gaoh style. That's not to say that he didn't work hard, though. We don't know yet.

@0takuDragonSlayer putting your weight on both feet actually makes you very easy to put off balance. Imagine someone pushes you, but your weight is on both legs, you have nowhere to go. If you have more weight on one leg or the other, you can shift weight to the other leg to compensate for the incoming energy. This error of having equal weight on both legs is called being double weighted.

Expectations=/=reality

The guy literally states that he had to fight in death matches on a regular basis. The old man who use to run the Kengan Association confirms this. If that isn't a type of hard work I don't know what is lmao
