Past few have been a shameless waste of chapters. They manhua publishers are really using some garbage methods to stretch these chapters out.

Now if only the author'd continue the LN. Though it was kind of running out of ideas and rushing past so much at the point I last saw it.

Lol nice job noticing that mistake, author, would’ve expected you to brush it off like most other mangas/manhwas/manhuas.

bear cub sized paws?

anyway, i haven't read the LN, but judging by the place giving off an eerie atmosphere and there's a sealing rune, i suspect there's a crazy strong evil demon beast inside?

@4stjack What?!? No, this kind of pacing is what makes this Manhua good, contrary to the rest of the crap that comes from China. They usually rush through everything to focus on meaningless battle scenes with an overpowered hero that did nothing to get strong.
I mean, in this chapter we learned that he came here in a previous life, that the markings on the wall were made by crazy strong people, that there's at least one demon he wants to avoid at the bottom of the pit and that he was true to his words giving the antidote and freeing the gang. That actually a lot in a mere 9 pages, I think.
Also, it's crazily faithful to the original WN, so nobody is stretching anything.

@exogriz
Hum, that's really spoilery but:
No, no evil demons, more like a cute goddess. But there is 2 crazy strong evil demon beasts brothers at the bottom of the pit.

Generally speaking, you want to tie a rope as low as possible to a tree, not as high as your length allows. Not only because the base of a tree is its sturdiest portion above ground, but because it avoids the totally unnecessary lever force stressing the tree. I'd say he tied it so high because he was really worried about the rope getting close to the toxic water. In any case, the rope is far more likely to simply snap, even under its own weight, than to become loose because of the anchor breaking. Even in our world, with advanced material engineering based on science and long industrial knowledge/traditions, it's challenging to make elevators for the tallest buildings. And they even aren't a kilometer tall so far. Spirit vines must be so nice.

Wish they would stop using the „if i mess up 1 time i will die, the surroundings will die and the world will die and the galaxy will die“ phrase.

@hijklol100 The pacing in this manhua is far better than in some other xianxia adaptations. Just look at Shen Yin Wang Zuo, for example. That manhua is a total disaster compared to the novel, good for nothing but looking at how beautiful Cai'er is.

At least author knows a bit about rope-physics. heh

@Kaarme that tree is in a marsh of contents that maybe toxic/ corrosive, additionally who knows where the actual ground level is? he also tied it to a bolder which would take the majority of the stress so the location on the tree is more so a back up.
