Considering he was framed, when he was never mentioned to have any specific enemies, and it was by someone in an overall pretty high position on their side...

Situations most like that mean they're getting rid of lone experts and using coups to take over other factions

So this guy is a beast and has already wiped out most of the second squad, and your solution is to send the first squad that is already tired from their fight with the monks?
That seems dubious at best and is placing a lot of trust in the first squad. Having both squads wiped would throw the last decade worth of training in the garbage.
Yes MC will be able to make it work, but that doesn't seem like a good strategy.
