and now suddenly there are way higher tiers of power and multiple worlds and from the perspective of his former life and how powerful he was then the entire world he lives in and all the events so far are completely and utterly meaningless.

@vaendryl he mentioned it way back to ziyun about the higher level of cultivation above legend rank, it's actually mentioned pretty early in the story, that's why he often make light of legend rank cultivator, the only reason he's taking them into account right now because his own cultivation level is still at the low stage hence he can't just treat them like shit
