Watatsuki Takeshi have Blast Core as his finishing move, along with groundwork and grappling to compliment his super man syndrome body.

Koga naturally is a speed type fighter, loves to initiate attacks rather than reacting to them. In a way, Koga finishing moves need to fulfill 2 criterion. One of them to take advantage of his striking range, another is to take advantage of his weight class.

This chapter has just a bit of fighting and it's still better than all episodes of the anime.

Good that they're getting into the mechanics of how full-contact differs a lot from other striking styles. By the end of this Koga's going to be a seriously well-rounded fighter.

I don't know he really doesn't come off as a pure speed fighter to me.

Characters like Rei, Ichiro Miyata, Rikudo, and Itagaki fit that bill. Koga has always come up as a character who is sort of a mixed bag. His power isn't garbage but it isn't otherworldly. His speed is nothing to sneeze at but I'm sure both of us can think of significantly faster Fighters. The guy has decent durability and kinetic vision but isn't Godlike.

Koga better pray he does not run into Raian at any point during this series. I can already see Raian saying "who's that dickless bitch over there" and Koga trying to talk shit right back which would only end in Raian folding Koga like some fuckin laundry.
