Not saying that isn't a good idea, but tbf given how upset she seemed about it I bet she would have already dispelled the curse on Amaryllis if she could.
maaaaybe? thing is, she IS a witch. so even having the expertise close at hand would be better than what's it now? 7 sheltered princesses(2 non-crystallized) and 2 princes fumbling around with no real knowledge on magic.
aaand since they're going to meet flying cats, there's a good chance at least one of'em will...or should, join their group. this flying cat will give the ivy witch's flying cat a reckoning for helping said witch do "bad" things, which will finally move the plot to either getting this "bad" witch as an ally or getting rid of her(unlikely).
either way, the sleeping kingdom should be awoken within 2 arcs or so, without any other unforseen speedbumps.
