to be fair, you wouldn't bother trying to conquer a kingdom had you not had a border with it. that makes sense. what you think of is the dragon fight Alec desperately fought, cut his way through the vine and, well, this looks like a border fortress. maybe the capital itself is way further out~~

I have no issues letting that joke stand as it is...But I think Alec's implication is that the horse knew the brother was under the curse previously, so she recognizes and is glad that he's been healed of it.

Only remembered up to Claire cause they stopped doing the dress design bit after hers....
