Meh...I don't like harems but what i absolutely hate is illogical and stupid characters. Instead of investigating and trying to ask him for his help they decided to act as spoiled brats. Now for some unknown stupid reason MC has to seek forgiveness and even feel indebted to them.
Why it grinds my gears? I most sure that 100% men in his shoes, would abandon them (and no it doesn't make him noble, it makes him stupid beyond compare). Or at least tell them to shut up, say to them either you work with me or in 1 year my kingdom will burn all the corpses as an act of invasion and only I stand here to save your pathetic lifes. <--- Though this kind of comment will make him less likeable to fucking losers who want to imagine that they are "good" guys with whom all the beauties of the world will sleep.
Damn it grinds my gears when MC's are overly "good" to the point of unnecessarily being insulted and humiliated. I know the situation will change and they will be fond of him but why allow infantile behavior of girls to endanger your dreams and even risk of destruction of the state?

Hard to read something so illogical, how can people self insert themselves in that MC? Can any man really relate to him? Or are japanese otaku so moronic in their delusions?
