Ahh honestly, I'm kind of disappointed that no one forgave Ango
It's completely understandable for Hana to hold it against him because he can never undo his crimes, but the evident change and growth in him should have been enough for the rest of the group to forgive him (hana aside). In many ways, I think the group is reluctant to take ango in solely because of hana's emotional trauma, but I dislike how one-dimensional the issue is. Yes, hana has no obligation to ever forgive ango and no one should pressure her to, but holding a grudge is more detrimental than learning to forgive. Rather than just ignore how ango has helped them in different ways so far, they should accept him into the group because he is objectively speaking a good asset to the team. As for hana, the group should make it clear that she does not have to forgive him, but at the same time, work together to help her overcome her trauma. It'll be hard, but it's more productive (both practically speaking and emotionally speaking) for her to grow this way. So often in our world today we categorize these crimes as so heinous that everyone is afraid to talk about it with the victim. But this just creates a shallow solution where ignoring the pain and pretending it doesn't exist is the default option chosen.
The whole series has shown how often times people view hana as strong, independent, and self-aware, but then both little and big moments allow her to self-reflect and show the readers that even someone you respect and admire to a high degree has something they can learn, grow, and improve on. In this scenario, I think it's imperative that everyone understands that just because they shouldn't pressure hana to forgive ango, doesn't mean they can't help and encourage her to overcome her emotional fears (especially so when they're still building their lives from the ground up and ango could be an integral factor in regard to finding success more efficiently).
Furthermore, just because of these crimes, ango does not deserve to die. Yes, it's obvious no one would kill him, but living with just him and ryou in buttfuck nowhere alone and without the group's support is quite close enough to a death sentence. Even though they're both very capable and will survive for a while, it won't last long the moment something bigger than daily issues occurs. Also, just from an objective point of view, it's more worth it to take ango in because of how much he could contribute to the group than be considerate towards hana's feelings (since more people are starting to no longer mind ango).
