Well shit, we actually saw some remorse from Ango. That will never undo what he did, but it does make him less despicable.

Ryo just pretends to be crazy? How is that not worse than actually being crazy??
Matsuri is relieved that Ryo's murder attempts have noble intentions.. Good for her, I know how fond she is of his face.

I wonder if the prior behaviour of Akio and Ran will ever be addressed. They did go out of their way to trap Hana&co at one point, under the assumption they would all die.
I also wonder what Momota thinks of the rest of Summer A, since they were all complicit in his poor treatment.

That's right ango, destruction is in your future mwahaha
Jk I was actually tearing up the whole chapter

Poor ango but I really think they should split up into 2 teams with team hana and team ango instead and live separately, he's right when he said he destroyed his own reliability by bullying hana

@Smetana
Aw fuck. It's not that the page is missing, but rather that 9 and 10 were out of order.
Fixed now, thanks.

I'm low key disturbed by the amount of disregard Ryo has for Hana's welfare and feelings after all this time. I know it makes sense for a would-be murderer to have empathy issues but damn! There are better ways to get two people to hold a conversation with one another! I couldn't help but laugh out loud when he said "my bad" though.

Matsuri going from "you're horrible, Ryo!" crisis-mode to making out with the dude after learning his intentions was... oof. Hormones are one hell of a drug. I was hoping she'd be able to serve as a moral compass for the dude but I suppose that's expecting too much.

@petra

The silence concerning some of the horrible things Ran and Akio did bothers me too. They basically enslaved the rest of their team members for years and treated others horribly, but its as if everyone decided to allow Ango and Ryo's misdeeds overshadow that. The character interactions in Team Autumn just don't seem to be as well developed as in the other teams. :/ We got evidence that Ran would regularly beat Kurumi and co but the fear and psychological trauma from all that seems to have morphed into a fearful respect, when you'd expect some resentment.

Ahh honestly, I'm kind of disappointed that no one forgave Ango :( It's completely understandable for Hana to hold it against him because he can never undo his crimes, but the evident change and growth in him should have been enough for the rest of the group to forgive him (hana aside). In many ways, I think the group is reluctant to take ango in solely because of hana's emotional trauma, but I dislike how one-dimensional the issue is. Yes, hana has no obligation to ever forgive ango and no one should pressure her to, but holding a grudge is more detrimental than learning to forgive. Rather than just ignore how ango has helped them in different ways so far, they should accept him into the group because he is objectively speaking a good asset to the team. As for hana, the group should make it clear that she does not have to forgive him, but at the same time, work together to help her overcome her trauma. It'll be hard, but it's more productive (both practically speaking and emotionally speaking) for her to grow this way. So often in our world today we categorize these crimes as so heinous that everyone is afraid to talk about it with the victim. But this just creates a shallow solution where ignoring the pain and pretending it doesn't exist is the default option chosen.

The whole series has shown how often times people view hana as strong, independent, and self-aware, but then both little and big moments allow her to self-reflect and show the readers that even someone you respect and admire to a high degree has something they can learn, grow, and improve on. In this scenario, I think it's imperative that everyone understands that just because they shouldn't pressure hana to forgive ango, doesn't mean they can't help and encourage her to overcome her emotional fears (especially so when they're still building their lives from the ground up and ango could be an integral factor in regard to finding success more efficiently).

Furthermore, just because of these crimes, ango does not deserve to die. Yes, it's obvious no one would kill him, but living with just him and ryou in buttfuck nowhere alone and without the group's support is quite close enough to a death sentence. Even though they're both very capable and will survive for a while, it won't last long the moment something bigger than daily issues occurs. Also, just from an objective point of view, it's more worth it to take ango in because of how much he could contribute to the group than be considerate towards hana's feelings (since more people are starting to no longer mind ango).

I'm really happy they told ango to stay away from them, the fear and the traumas you cause to people with violence aren't going to go away so fast, and you can't expect stuff to be forgotten and forgiven so fast either. Cool down, receive the punishment you deserve (isolation), and when the victims feel ready to accept you again, you can be redempted.

Also i would like to beg the author to please stop mentally torturing Hana all the time lmao, Ryo is a selfish bastard that only thinks about himself and the people he cares about (mostly Ango), how can he torture Hana so much just to "help ango" apologize? that's the stupidest and most insensitive shit ever. I really want him away.

"She shouldn't feel pressured to think anything like 'Do I have to forgive him?' Just making her think that would be cruel" - Chisa

I usually admire Chisa's desire to uphold Yamato Nadeshiko-ism, to hold people to a higher standard and sense of refinement, but uh, lmao, yo, since when did everyone suddenly become saints and angels, especially in the world they're in? Bah gawd, with God as my witness, Ango has been broken in half, the man has indubitably seen more than his fair share of punishment for one lifetime (when he was still just a teen, no less), and has clearly repented and exorcised his demons. But at this point, Hana (and Chisa, maybe others) is the one imposing on everyone else because of her feelings. She doesn't have to accept Ango into her heart and see his face everyday or anything, but what about everyone else? Do they all feel exactly the same way? And what about Ran and Akio, the leaders of Team Autumn? Like @petra and @Betony pointed out, have we suddenly forgotten how they behaved for ~3 years? Are the rest of the teams perfect angels and saints, too? LET HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE, LET MY NIGGA ANGO GO!
