Thank you for translating this! It's weird how the author wanted to end on this chapter lol. I felt like the previous one was a better ending. I do wish we got a glimpse into their future selves like 10 yrs from now. This entire manga was great though!

This was such a great read. How did I not find this earlier!?
I'm glad Chimaki finally got some much-needed screentime. Ahkskdl I have mixed feelings about Matsuri leaving with Ango and Ryou, it makes sense for her character but I feel bad for Natsu!! She was her first true friend after all. ;o; And now Ango's low key the third wheel. xD Hopefully he'll be able to find love abroad.

Seeing all these characters again really brightened my day. I'm sad to see their story end, but I'm glad it ended on such a positive note.

Omg the children!! I'm so happy I went on this wild ride, thank you to all the scanners for your hard work and of course our author who did all of this for us. I wish there was more and this could just be an ongoing fun project where Tamura-sensei just writes stories of the future as she comes up with them...but ofc that won't happen TT at least in my dreams I get to see ango and co reach the americas, the group establish their community, and everyone grow old <3

I can’t believe it’s actually done..
I feel like there’s still so much more to discover in the world of 7 Seeds so tbh I’m a bit disappointed that it ended. However I understand that everything must come to an end at some point and the author, bless their heart, worked with the series for 16 years.
Honestly, it’s so amazing and I’m so grateful that the author took me out on this reading adventure.

Even though I can barely read Japanese I still decided to by the first book plus the extra special book of 7 Seeds when I was in Japan.
It feels nice to be able to support a series I have so many amazing memories off.

thank you for this! i like the gaiden focusing moreso on the present rather than the near-off future, i feel like it rounded out the story nicely and it speaks to the idea of goal setting giving people something to look forward to.

I put off on reading this after finishing the original manga but I finally did it after all this time...

God, just what a series!! The journey that all these characters went through, this whole gaiden was such a nice bonus seeing their daily life together. I do feel a bit sad that chapter 3 felt more of a last chapter and was expecting this one to be just as long and show more. But nonetheless I'm incredibly happy that its over. Thank you to all the translators over the decades for your work.

7 Seeds and its characters will stay with me for the rest of my life!
