Why didn't they store the cryo frozen people with the supplies in the mountain?

I googled it. Mount Yufu is a volcano. They stored all the supplies in volcanoes in case of a geological disaster. The kind that make volcanoes erupt all over the world.
We might get hit by a Meteor -> Kidnap schoolchildren -> Cryosleep them -> Store their supplies in Volcanoes -> Make a shit team of social failures -> Profit.
The Fallout series came up with a more plausible scenario to worldwide population disaster survival and they stocked a Vault with one guy and a box of puppets.
