He lost for two reasons mainly.

One, his 'avid passion' to invite female players to his guild. Which lead to him adding those players earlier.
Two ,his 'avid passion' to invite female players to his guild. Which lead to him not accepting refusals well, which lead to this entire fight.

Basically, his lecherousness nature doomed them all.
