I really REALLY hope that the emperor does not get a happy ending with the Female MC. No matter what his tragic backstory is (and I am sure there IS one) HE.WAS.WRONG to treat the queen like that. So I really hope this is an actual revenge story and not one that will blow-off into a typical she-heals-his-wounded-heart-and-they-lived-happily-ever-after story

Recap of what we know:

1. So this Rosemond lady is definitely evil (or at least it would be implied based on Chapter 2)
2. The Emperor has some sort of (possibly nefarious) plan to make make Rosemond queen
3. Her sister was accused of causing a miscarriage (victim unknown) and trying to kill the Emperor

Seems like the Emperor is the ML, question is...is he complicit in this false accusation or is he just a moron? Either way I hope Lizzie doesn't fall for him (although this isn't as bad as The Abandon Empress, I prefer a revenge plot)
