Ugh, each time I read this I get more irritated by the insulting lack of power scaling. Piccolo was magnitudes stronger than Freiza, who was the strongest known fighter in the galaxy while he was alive, 13 years before this. And according to this very chapter (and the rest of DBZ, though not outright stated): "[Piccolo] never stops honing [him]self even in the best of times". Yet some unknown nobody, who is not even the main villain, nor is from a different universe (and thus out , suddenly is a match for him. If Merus were able to capture these guys, then Freiza would have been in jail as well.

Sigh. At least I have Dragon Ball Multiverse, although it has its own problems, like snail-paced updates.
