@NeroPR "Fumino all the way! The race is between her and Kirisu sensei!"

Neither one of them could cook, so how can they give proper chocolates?

I'm okay with Kirisu (based on arcs, she deserves it), but the first one to actually kiss him intentionally was Uruka (she's the one I wish would win it). I believe that, like you it will be Fumino, the author seems to favor her the most.

@John_Doe_Jersey Actually, I'm just glad for the author wrapping up the story. You need guts to say "this is the person the MC will end up with and end of the story", we know a lot of readers won't be satisfied with any kind of ending, that is when a lot of authors try to appeal to everyone and you end up appealing to no one. It can't end up worse than Nisekoi, right?

The inner pessimist in me believes it can end worse, we are living in a "give every kid a trophy for participation" reality. One thing we can count on is that the end usually can't match the quality of the beginning or main story, it's like these authors had a great idea, a good plot, but simply didn't know how to end it. You add an editor's or production company's interference to drag out and filler up the series, and it tends to make these situations end up worse. It seems most harem mangas do end with some satisfaction but those that don't... made me feel like a fool for wasting my time following it.

I wouldn't be surprised if this author, his editors, or the production company leaves it on a cliff hanger with no one winning or allows Ogata to win (technically she was the first to kiss him, though accidentally, they tend to magnify the significance of the first kiss) trying to defy expectations they've built. With this they could crank some form of alt reality issues of if each girl won and how would it happen, bleeding out the cash cow as much as possible. While I expect many to complain, there will still be plenty of people buying the "what if" issues still wanting the ending those provide.
