@Payudi Sadly, the translation really was not done well At a minimum, some serious proofreading needed to be done to clean up quite a few basic mistakes that I saw. I suspect, that like many other did, this group simply rushed something out in order to get it out first, rather than ensuring that the scanlation was done proper. Being fast is not always a blessing, as the readers to try to have some expectation of quality, the least of which is proper grammar/spelling in the language that the group is translating the work to.

As for the sniping, the simple fact that they demonstrated a lack of real concern for the quality is simple proof that they may want to reconsider doing English translations unless they can up their game there.

Scanlators should have gotten a proofreader at the minimum. Most english readers don't really care for translation accuracy, as long as they have a proofreader for "localization."

Rewrite the whole chapter, but be sure to proofread it first so all the girls sound like american gangsters, not some asian who can't get his grammar right.

Why even post if you’re so unable to translate? Sniping in with your own garbage? Best case scenario, you want to practice scanlating. Good for you! Do it on a less high profile series and not on THE FINAL FUCKING CHAPTER. Worst case, you’re intentionally being an asshole, in which case, you’re a knockoff SSSSS who can’t even do low effort trolling well.

You are doing a major disservice not just to the readers or prior scanlators, but the mangaka as well.

Well, waterflame has been doing it for 2 years, that's really scummy to snipe them right at the last chapter.
As a scanlator who has been sniped a couple of times, I feel the pain.
But still, thanks for the scanlation I guess.

I have read the raws when it got out and I'd say it's a terrible ending of one of the very few manga that I actually cared about. It is immensly rushed- two pages of manga covering content that can potentially last an entire volume. It's like Charlotte all over again.
Really disappointed. Also the lack of best girl shovel girl disturbs me.

Trash translation. I understood as much as a raw lmao. Anyways.
Feels sorta anticlimactic. Seems like the Author didn't really know how to make it end, so they just ended it. I mean if you look at the main story leading up to them deciding to leave the school, overall there were a lot of shocks and great moments. Past that... not much, in fact there were things the Author essentially tried repeating. For example the Bear/Little Sister thing. Everyone saw through it immediately, and you can't really try to pull the same trick twice in the story. I think this could've been more conclusive if it ended way earlier rather than now, because what was the point? We just started wheel spinning with the University arc. In regards to the Main Characters no real development happened and we practically reset to back before those arcs even occurred with Kurumi getting zombie-sick again, and everyone losing their shit as chaos is unfolding. We didn't have enough of the Randall Corp to really understand anything. Apparently there was some divide we never knew enough about. And when the entire ending of the story revolves around that plot-point it's pretty bland. Which is just that the Author didn't know how to write a large-scale disaster reasonably, I won't say unrealistically since the truth is that something like this would be left unknown to the main cast. I think if Highschool of the Dead hadn't lost it's Author, it was setting up to play this scenario out much better by introducing military characters with a connection to the school nurse therefore giving that leap later in the story to be involved and understand and or be involved with why a military coup would occur.
For Gakkou Gurashi it's just kinda like: alright, it finally ended. A real shame because this used to be one of my most hyped up manga whenever I saw it update.
