@cromat I don't think so, but I don't know for sure. It might be just one of the more abrupt, cliffhanger-y endings. I only happened upon these two chapters by coincidence, they were published with one anthology that has since gone out of print, thus why I uploaded them.

Oh well but the point was made Angel got to see Black Jack in action, the kid got his operation, and the stupid villagers got told on their bullshit, even if the surgery fails, we got 2 out of 3 points achieved.
