Hmmm, maybe the dog is psychic? He saved the child from a falling object.

Also, the bomb dogs actually reminded me of what the Russians did in WW2. Used bomb dogs to destroy tanks. Trained them that there would be food under enemy tanks and they explosives go while still strapped to the dog. A lot of doggos was loss in that war as well.

@lymus is it possible to have there to be something that posts the mangaplus link? it would probs be easier if the process was automatic, and we would see updates faster. hopefully this won't be of too much hassle.

@noobtube2 well yes, but I assumed that he got trained on it and have an image of their family printed unto his head in the previous chapter. I was like crunching my memory trying to find out if they encountered a dog before. But with this, I was wondering if dog is powerful psychic like seeing into the future. Heck, might even be the first one to be experimented on before Anya (She does have a dark past and I want to see it further expanded on).

@nomadicengi The experiment failed as far as I know, so only couple of dozens of dogs were used that way. It was both inefficient and trainers refused to continue to train their dogs that way - as dogs could not leave timed charges under enemy tanks most of the time wich resulted in shooting the dogs so that they wouldn't bring explosives back.
By the way, US trained their anti-tank dogs agains fortifications but either were unable to employ it till the war ended or they learned about failure of simillar projects form other countries.
Oh, wait, found a wiki: US could not train their dogs to stay at supposed demolition sites until simulated explosion until 1945 so they could not employ it for safety measures.

@kwendy Wikipedia says that it failed when they tried to get the dogs to get the bombs under the tank, set the bomb and remove the safety pin and escape. The dogs just go under the tank and back with bomb. The next attempt was starving them and training them to go under the tanks for food. It worked in training but in the field...Ehhh. The dogs actually went under Russian tanks rather than German tanks cause of the smell of the fuel. The Russians used diesel engines for their tanks in training but the German tanks used gasoline engines for theirs. A lot of friendly fire occurred. There are some reports that it was successful but this is the USSR, a lot of red tape on those reports up to this day and maybe others are just propaganda to incite fear to the enemy.

At least it's somehow effective and practical compared to what the Americans thought of in WW2. Cat guided bombs, and bats with napalm bombs to fight the Japanese.

@nomadicengi There are whole lots of reasons experiment failed, the fuel one is the most widely known. And yea, when I read wiki there was something about very dubious report about 300 destroyed tanks. People did a lot of wierd experiments in 20-th century. Well, maybe it seemed like a good idea when experiments were conducted.
I heared about bats disaster, never read actual source about it actually.

@Lymus they are collecting suggestions for the new website, so it would be the best moment to ask

On a side note: precog doggo wants to join the team!
