You know what I just realized? Like, almost every isekai I’ve seen has the MC be suspicious of the terms of his summoning and, instead of sticking with the few people from his world he knows, decides to cut ties with them completely and instead party up with complete strangers.

Like, what’s the point of going to another world with other people when you immediately cease contact with all of them immediately?
